The MXB-3h is designed to replace wax or clay to hold suction tubing, electrodes, and any other type of probe.  The MSC-1 miniature clamp lets you clamp a wide variety of small artifacts.  Any object with an 8-32 tapped hole can be attached to the end of the MXB-3h.  To position an artifact, loosen the clamping screws on each of the links, position the tip, and tighten the clamping screws.  The MXB-3h comes with an insert on the mounting thread, so it can be adapted to either 1/4-20 or 8-32 holes - great for mounting to threaded rods!  When tightened, the artifact will stay stable until the clamping screws are loosened.  Try the new Siskiyou MXB-3h, and get rid of the clay!
