Solution Switcher

The MXPZT-300 series solution switcher uses a high-speed piezo flexure-guided nanopositioner to move pipette tips in solution-switching applications. It switches theta glass solution streams with respect to the recording electrode very close to the theoretical maximum velocity; typical cellular response curves are under 200 microseconds. This system is ideal for measuring cellular response to drugs or other elements in solution.
